Usually in January we are experiencing the most brutal of weather as temperatures usually are very much below freezing, especially with wind chill factor thrown in. This year however, we are breaking dozens of high temperatures where according to FoxNews, it is in the 1,000′s. If you are looking to go on a ski vacation, you may be disappointed as much of the country is not experiencing much snow fall therefore ski hills may just be grass hills.
Don’t get me wrong, I would much rather have the warmer weather as who really likes freezing cold weather were you have to bundle up just to go outside for a few minutes. With the warmer weather you can actually pull out your Weber gas grill to cook up some steaks and veggies – something that is not usually done in the midst of winter.
While La Nina can probably be blamed for our unseasonable warm winter, you can expect to see winter conditions returning to normal in a few weeks as weather patterns start to move. Enjoy grilling for the next few days before it becomes just a memory!
